Το Άγιον Πνεύμα διδάσκει όλα σε όλους, φωτίζει όλες τις διάνοιες, θέτει την πίστη σε όλες τις καρδιές; δίνει σ' όλες τις ψυχές την βεβαιότητα της αληθινής διδασκαλίας, αλλά οι χριστιανοί οφείλουν για ζητήματα "ευταξίας" να παραχωρήσουν σε μερικούς μόνον τα δικαιώματα όλων, και οι εκλεκτοί του λαού να ασκήσουν το έργο της ιεράς Διακονίας, αφού οι πρεσβύτεροι, δηλαδή οι απλώς γεροντότεροι τους επιθέσουν τας χείρας.
Δεν μπορούμε, να μην εκφράσουμε πριν προχωρήσουμε πάρα πέρα, τις σκέψεις που γέννησε μέσα μας αυτή η παράδοξη διδασκαλία. Ταπεινός κόλαξ του λαού, όπως όλοι οι αιρετικοί, όλοι οι στασιαστές, όλοι οι εχθροί της εξουσίας, ο Λούθηρος γδύνει τον άνθρωπο από όλα τα ελαττώματά του προκειμένου να τον ντύσει με όλα τα προνόμια και όλες τις τελειότητες.
