Ο γέροντας Παΐσιος του εξήγησε πως οι δυνάμεις που του επέτρεπαν να το κάνει αυτό ήταν δαιμονικές και αυτός με τη βοήθεια του Θεού τις εξουδετέρωσε

αυτή η δοκιμαστική περίοδος δεν είναι για να μας προετοιμάσει να πεθάνουμε, αλλά να ζήσουμε, ότι η επιθυμία του Πατρός για εμάς είναι ώστε να μπορέσουμε να αποφύγουμε κάθε σφάλμα και να λάβουμε κάθε αλήθεια και εφαρμόζοντας την αλήθεια στη ζωή μας, να γίνουμε περισσότερο σαν Εκείνον και να γίνουμε άξιοι να κατοικήσουμε μαζί Του
